   Hello:

   I am publishing an autobiography for a friend, here in Mexico. She’s had a heckuva musical career, leading orchestras and creating music. She has written her story and wants it bound and printed to distribute amongst her family and friends.

   She is particularly fond of the concept of using a Clef on the cover, which I will put together for her. This book won’t be for sale. While perusing the Web for possible cover ideas, I came across your painted Clef (Treble Clef Two), and she seems to like it very much. We are wondering if we might be able to get your permission to copy it for her cover. You would, of course, be recognized inside the book as the artist.
